Finally, All madrasas in Uttar Pradesh has to follow NCERT guidelines and have NCERT books in the Curriculum.

The Yogi Adityanath government has decided to introduce National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) books in madrasas in Uttar Pradesh, apart from making mathematics and science compulsory at the intermediate level in Islamic schools.

The steps are intended to make madrasa students more competitive by providing them contemporary and quality education, said Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma. Now the point to take note that whether this will rise any controversy or not, because there are enough controversy already in UP.

The UP govt. has decided to introduce NCERT books in madarsasas in order to help students studying there to come at par with children of other school.

In January, the State government had made NCERT books mandatory for all
schools affiliated to the Uttar
Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha parishad (UP Board) from academic session 2018-19.
In August, the State government had launched portal of UP Madrasa Board for online registration of all Islamic institutions, where they were asked to upload all relevant information pertaining to their managing commitee, teachers and students.

Meanwhile, the Teachers association Madaris-arbia Uttar pradesh has welcomed the decision of the state government and said changes in the curriculum other than religious education in keeping with the present requirement are good.
